This tree was a surprise commission for the recipient for their 50th wedding anniversary.  
I can't wait to hear how it went! ok I heard... they loved it!

Each branch represented one of their kids and in turn, each one branches out to their kids (the grandkids)  

Despite the likeliness to the other trees I have done, each tree is SO individual and tailored.  I get to know what is important to each family.  

I am also streamlining the process and figuring out better and better questions to ask to find out things that are truly treasured.  The whole process takes about a month, with 2 sets of roughs and a final presented.

A while ago I came up with an acronym that summarized the kind of art I like doing, PLUM, Personal Loving Uplifting Meaningful, and I love how these trees summarize all that.
